The Main Power Transformer 110–220 kV is intended for high-value electrical infrastructure where power reliability, voltage regulation, insulation performance and operational monitoring are essential. It is significantly larger and more sophisticated than a conventional distribution transformer and is normally installed as a major component of a substation or high-capacity power-generation facility. The transformer receives electrical power at a high transmission voltage, such as 110 kV or 220 kV, and transforms it to a lower voltage level suitable for downstream transmission, distribution, industrial loads or renewable-energy collection systems.

The transformer incorporates an oil-immersed insulation and cooling system, high-voltage insulation structures, transformer windings, magnetic core, tank, cooling equipment, tap-changing equipment, bushings and protection and monitoring accessories. Depending on the project specification, the transformer can be engineered with different cooling arrangements and monitoring systems.

SPECIFICATIONS

BDACEE Main Power Transformers are three-phase, oil-immersed high-voltage power transformers in the 110–220 kV class, designed for large substations, new-energy power stations and industrial step-down substations. The product family covers rated capacities of approximately 10–100 MVA, with typical high-voltage ratings of 110 kV or 220 kV and typical low-voltage configurations of 33 kV or 11 kV, subject to the final engineering specification. The transformers are available with ONAN or ONAN/ONAF cooling, providing natural oil circulation and natural-air cooling under the base arrangement, with forced-air cooling available where the required thermal performance demands it. The transformer incorporates an on-load tap changer (OLTC) for voltage regulation while energized, enabling output-voltage adjustment without interrupting power supply. The design emphasizes high insulation performance, strong short-circuit withstand capability, reliable thermal management and comprehensive protection and monitoring. The transformer can be equipped for remote monitoring and adapted to complex outdoor operating conditions. Applicable standards include IEC 60076 and GB standards, with the exact standard, voltage ratio, rated capacity, vector group, impedance, insulation level, tap range, temperature rise, losses, cooling configuration, dimensions and accessory package determined by the approved factory technical specification and customer RFQ
